Dawn Hart has over 20 years experience in the financial services and management fields.  Her experience ranges from mortgage lending, residential rehabilitation, real estate and investments.  Dawn is responsible for all executive management, administration, public and political relations, labor relations, contracts, invoicing and bookkeeping.

Fred Hart, Sr.

Executive Vice President/COO

Fred Hart, Sr. has over 35 years experience in the construction trades.  His portfolio includes, parking lot maintenance, road construction, flat work, sewer and drainage and residential structure rehabilitation.  He has successfully owned several businesses and has worked successfully with design and construction teams to ensure quality on behalf of project owners and subcontractors.  As a previous Construction Owner and Manager, Fred has direct knowledge of industry preferences and owner issues.  He is an asset at public meetings and understands the need of working with special interest groups affected by construction projects. He is very experienced in addressing innovative solutions to solve complex construction phasing challenges as well as address strategic initiatives to best position MCAI for continued success in a rapidly changing marketplace.

 

Bruce Washington

Superintendent

Bruce Washington started in the construction industry with Bloom Construction in 1985.  Having over 40 years in this industry, he has supervised many projects and has been the overseer of projects as small as $7.5M and as large as $19M.  His expertise in the building trades and managing his own successful company has given him opportunities to lead teams of construction workers in erecting many car dealerships and medical facilities projects.  Bruce joined Makaveli Construction in 2019.  He is a valuable leader who directs and supervises all project stages from planning to completion.  He has an excellent reputation for quality standards and security of the construction site.

 

James Ponder

Outreach Director

Mr. Ponder has gained notable respect in the community development arena as an advocate for business development, workforce change, training, and mentor opportunities. His career spans over 35 years and his expertise in setting goals, creating jobs, and workforce preparation is invaluable.  He’s an amazing specialist at engaging in new relationships and strengthening relationships with existing partners.  He is passionate about bringing awareness of the corporation’s mission and capabilities to the full range of local, state, and government agencies.
